Su camino en la música comenzó a temprana edad, primero como bajista autodidacta, al tiempo que entre experimentos caseros jugaba con distintas técnicas de grabación en cinta.
En este punto su perspectiva de la música estaba influenciada tanto por artistas tan diversos como Can, Gentle Giant, The Art Emsamble Of Chicago, Charles Mingus, John Cage, Sonic Youth y Stravinsky.
En este panorama sonoro tan amplio se formo su sonido, que al pasar los años fue tornandose mas y mas permeado por la electrónica, artistas igualmente diversos como Plastikman y Future Sound Of London hicieron mella en su entender musical, y fue entonces que decidió reemplazar la instrumentación convencional por los secuenciadores y la síntesis de sonido.
En un principio su sonido fue bastante híbrido, mezcla de tan diversas influencias, que con el tiempo se fueron depurando hasta conseguir un sonido único y reconocible. Fue en este momento que su reconocimiento en la escena underground bogotana empezó a crecer, su live marcó la diferencia frente a una escena saturada de djs, y esto fue lo que finalmente lo llevó a convertirse en uno de los favoritos de la escena local y nacional. Su constante interés en la experimentación, lo ha llevado a constantes colaboraciones con artistas plásticos, vídeo artistas y coreógrafos.
En este momento reside en Barcelona (España), Su trabajo esta ahora influenciado por sus colaboraciones con artistas locales, junto a su trabajo realizando mezcla y mastering para diferentes artistas.

His musical path began at an early age, first as an autodidact bass player, and later on through experimenting with tape recorders and different recording technics.
At this point his music perspective was influenced by different artist such as Can, Gentle Giant, The Art Emsamble Of Chicago, Charles Mingus, John Cage, Sonic Youth and Stravinsky.
In this particular scenario his sound was formed, and with the years, got more and more influenced by the genre of electronic music. Artists like Plastikman and Future Sound Of London leave a stong impression on him and influence him immensely in his musical understanding. It was then that he decided to replace the conventional instrumentation with sequencers and sound synthesis.
At an early stage, Blanali’s sound was a kind of hybrid mix of diverse influences, which eventually turned into a unique and recognizable sound. His recognition in the underground scene of Bogota began to grow, his live acts made a difference in a scene saturated with djs, and this is what eventually led him to become a favorite of both local and national scene. His interest in experimenting is one of the reasons why he constantly engages in ongoing collaborations with visual artists, video artists and choreographers.
Currently based in Barcelona, Blanali’s work is now influenced by his recent local collaborations, alongside his mixing and mastering work for different artist.
